Chellaram Diabetes Research Centre (CDRC) is an initiative of Chellaram Foundation and Chellaram Diabetes Institute to encourage quality research in India and to provide Research Grants to talented scientific researchers in transforming their research ideas into actual projects on therapeutic, diagnostic, prophylactic and implementation areas of Diabetes and its complications, after a detailed independent review and assessment of Research Proposals.
The Chellaram Foundation is a public charitable “Not-For-Profit” organization established in 2008 in memory of Late Kishinchand Chellaram and Late Bhai Lokumal Kishinchand Chellaram. Chellaram Foundation is geared to create an impact on the lives of people with diabetes through its various initiatives.
Chellaram Diabetes Institute, a unit of Chellaram Foundation, established in 2010 with the main objective of creating an IMPACT on the rising cases of Diabetes in India. This objective is sought to be achieved through main pillars – Patient Care, Education, Awareness, Outreach and Research.
